The 45-litre backpack

The bellows opening lets you reach the bottom without emptying everything else. The kimono goes in flat and comes out flat.

A backpack does not fail at the fabric: it fails at a seam that opens or a zip that breaks. They are the two points we took care of first, and the two points you only notice when they are missing.

The front is Velcro. Put on your academy's patch, the competition patch, whichever you like: they go on and come off in a second, with no stitching and no marks. It is the simplest way of showing from a distance where you train.

The backpack is available in several colours.

The Duffle

You grab it from wherever you happen to: from the top when you pull it down from the locker, from the side when you pass it to someone, from the front when you settle it in the car. You never have to turn it round to find the handle.

The shoulder straps turn it into a backpack when your hands are full or the road is long. It is the same bag, carried the way you need it at that moment.

Besides the main opening it can be checked from the top: you look inside and take what you need without pulling everything else out.

In the rear pocket there is a separate compartment: the flip-flops and the sweat-soaked kimono go in there and stay there. The clean change travels somewhere else.

Mesh pockets both outside and inside: the mesh shows what is in them without opening them and keeps in place whatever you put there — mouthguard, wraps, keys, bottle.
