No-Gi for women: what it means

No-gi is jiu-jitsu without the kimono: grips are taken on the body, the pace is faster and every garment has to stay in place. The women's kit is a rashguard and leggings, worn on their own or under fight shorts.

Finding your size

Rashguards and leggings are meant to fit close. For fight shorts, do not size up for comfort: choose the size in which the waistband pulls slightly, so they stay up without relying on the drawstring. If in doubt, take the smaller size. Every measurement is in the Kano size guide.

Belt rank rashguards for competition

The women's Competition rashguards come in the belt colours: white, blue, purple, brown and black. They are made following the IBJJF guidelines: the check takes place at the event, on the garment as worn, and approval rests with the officials.
